Smart Carbon Farming Conference

Boosting Climate-Sustainable Agriculture in Europe

Welcome to the Life Agromitiga Project’ Smart Carbon Farming Conference!

We are thrilled to invite you to be part of a transformative initiative aimed at decoupling CO 2 emissions from using raw materials and natural resources. The Life Agromitiga project focuses on implementing innovative agricultural practices, such as Conservation Agriculture (CA), to enhance soil mitigation capacity through carbon sequestration, particularly in the European soils within the Mediterranean Basin.

Our upcoming conference is a unique platform that brings together farmers, policymakers, universities, research centres, and various stakeholders. Together, we aim to exchange valuable insights and recent experiences in carbon farming, fostering discussions on the pivotal role of carbon farming in Europe’s climate change mitigation strategy.

Under the theme “Boosting Sustainable Climate Agriculture in Europe,” this conference will delve into the pressing challenges faced by European agriculture, with a special emphasis on the Mediterranean regions. Our goal is to explore and provide practical solutions that ensure the resilience of the agricultural sector in light of the evolving climate scenario.

We warmly invite you to join us in this engaging dialogue, where your input will play a crucial role in shaping alternative pathways for success in the race towards climate change mitigation. Let’s come together, share knowledge, and contribute to building a more sustainable future for European agriculture.
See you at the conference!

The event will be held in person and transmitted via streaming.
All attendees will be provided refreshments and lunch (limited seats available).
